SWAGGY GEORGE (c, 2, Not This Time–Ottaviano, by Elusive Quality) provided his freshman sire Not This Time (Giant's Causeway) with his second winner in as many days with a smart debut victory in this rained-off affair at Gulfstream Park. The 9-1 shot was outsprinted early after exiting from post seven, but began to wind up with an eye-catching, sweeping move around the far turn. He kicked for home in complete command and stayed on down the lane to graduate in style by four lengths. Favored Congrats Again (Congrats) was second. Ottaviano, a half-sister to GII Black-Eyed Susan S. runner-up Smart N Pretty (Elusive Quality), was bred to Shackleford for the 2020 season. Sales history: $48,000 RNA Wlg '18 KEENOV; $7,000 RNA Ylg '19 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $24,000. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
